The Interdisciplinary Center for Research on Arts, Politics, Memory and Society (PolArt) supports, promotes and conducts interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research on the relationship between the arts, politics, memory and society in different regions of the world. At the encounter of political science, sociology, history of ideas, art history, and cultural anthropology, this research center welcomes projects of research that deal with the representation of political power, as well as to the unsettling of political power by artistic representations.
